Meet Chris Singh! He is a Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working with youth and adults in the mental health and community support sector.
Chris comes with a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Counselling and has formal training in a range of therapeutic modalities, however, has a particular interest in Schema Therapy and Level 1 EMDR. Chris Specialises in complex trauma and utilises a holistic approach, understanding that bio-psycho-social factors all play a role in overall health and wellbeing.
Chris has experience working with individuals with trauma-related incidents including physical, emotional and psychological abuse, sexual abuse, mood disorders including but not limited to anxiety and depression and personality disorders including BPD and ASPD.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Chris finds joy in the company of his trusty sidekick, Harvey (his dog), often seen enjoying walks along the beach. An avid sports enthusiast, particularly footy (Go Blues!) and basketball, Chris' passion extends to any sporting event that captures his interest.
